Br. FELIX Callaghan (1825-1848) BRO, FELIX CALLAGHAN 1825-1848 Born at Blanchardstown near Dublin on 3rd October 1825, John Callaghan was the first Irishman to become a Passionist Brother. He was professed at Aston Hall on 30th April 1848. Just over a year later he died on 14th November 1849 at the age of 24, His death was caused by a ruptured artery in his lung. All that is recorded of him is "He was always a good, obedient, humble and laborious lay brother. He endured his sickness not only with Christian patience, but also with religious joy, and died very happily." (8) He is buried at Aston Hall. HEE EEE HEE EEE EEE ETH
